Information regarding the 2023 – 2024 Terms and Conditions

All Hawk Dining Company Plans and funds are for the personal use of the owner of the account only and are non-transferable. Dining plans and funds cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate. Dining plans are valid during the semester they are purchased in and added to the student account each semester.  Dining plans are an annual plan, the plan selected for the fall semester will automatically renew for the spring semester. 

Meal Swipe balances do not carry over from fall to spring semester, are non-refundable, non-transferrable and expire at the end of each semester. Dining Dollar balances carry over from the fall to spring semester and expire at the end of the spring semester. 

Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all Hawk Dining Company Plans and funds are non-refundable and will expire on the last day of enrollment or on the last day of the current semester.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • All first year students living on campus will be automatically enrolled in the All Access plan and they can upgrade to the All Access Plus plan at any time.

  • All students living in LLC will be required to have a meal plan and will have the ability to choose any option. If one is not selected they will be enrolled in the lowest plan available and can upgrade at any time at no additional charge.

  • All upperclassmen living in Houses will be required to have the Weekly 10, All Access or All Access Plus plan. If one is not selected, they will be enrolled in the Weekly 10 plan and can upgrade at any time at no additional charge.
  • All students will have the ability to change their meal plan selection (respective of their on-campus housing) without a charge through August 11, 2023.

  • Any requests to downgrade a meal plan between August 12, 2023 and the first board day is subject to a $100 administrative fee.

  • Once the board days have started, students wishing to downgrade their meal plans will be subject to the refund schedule.

  • Any students that leave the university will have their meal plan refunded based on the refund schedule and their day of departure or their last day of usage, whichever is later.

  • Use of meal plans includes using Swipes, Meal Exchanges, and Dining Dollars.

  • No changes or refunds will occur after the refund period has ended.

  • As meal plans are annual contracts, they will roll over to the Spring semester. Spring semester meal plans will be billed in early December 2023.

  • Requests for changes or cancellations to meal plans for the Spring semester will not be reviewed until after billing in early December.

  • Students will have the ability to downgrade their meal plans for the Spring semester for $100 administration fee between the time they are billed and January 10, 2024.
  • Starting January 11, 2024, students wishing to downgrade their meal plans will be subject to the refund schedule.

  • Students will have the ability to upgrade their meal plans at any time at no charge.

  • Students living in a meal plan required building who move out of a meal plan required building are responsible for alerting Dining Services of their move if they want to change their meal plan. They will be held to the Refund Schedule.

  • Cancellations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Dining Services Committee. 

  • Requests for an exemption due to medical reasons are to go through the Office of Disability Services. The student will be required to also meet with the Campus Dietitian.

Fall Semester Refunds 2022

August 19th to August 30th 2022
Dining Plan Refund 90%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

August 31st to September 6th 2022
Dining Plan Refund 80%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

September 7th to September 13th 2022
Dining Plan Refund 60%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

September 14th to September 20th 2022
Dining Plan Refund 40%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

September 21st to September 27th 2022
Dining Plan Refund 20%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

No refund for dining plan allowance thereafter.

Spring Semester Refunds 2023

Up through January 24, 2023
Dining Plan Refund 90%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

January 25, 2023 to January 31, 2023
Dining Plan Refund 80%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

February 1, 2023 to February 7, 2023
Dining Plan Refund 60%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

February 8, 2023 to February 14, 2023
Dining Plan Refund 40%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

February 15, 2023 to February 21, 2023
Dining Plan Refund 20%
Full refund on all unused dining dollars, minus a $100 service fee

No refund for dining plan allowance thereafter

Promotions are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash, gift cards, credit, or toward previous purchases.  Other exclusions may apply.  Void where prohibited.  Additional restrictions may apply.  Aramark reserves the right to cancel or modify any promotion or offer at any time.  Refer to each Promotion’s respective materials for additional details, instructions, and requirements.
